We had lunch at Kuishin Bo on a Saturday in January 2008 (Oops, not December 2007, my lousy memory!). Lunch is cheaper than dinner, but had fewer special dishes. It didn't have the snow crab legs (so-so) and beef cappacio, which we don't eat anyway, so we weren't complaining. There were already too many items to eat, and we'd probably eaten about 50% to 60% of all the food items available...and that's already more than enough for us!
The appetisers...my favourite things to eat at buffets
Pretty shells
Some tempura, potato croquette and yaki udon and other yaki dishes
Fortune bag soup?
It's very cute, this tau-pok bag...the inside was filled with sticky, starchy stuff...like sticky yam or some starchy root vege stuff.
Other stuff in tasting portions, including Dorayaki, the fave food of Doraemon (小叮当) and mine too
Desserts shared with the SO...they're not my favourite things but must try a bit lah!
Black sesame mochi, macha cake, white chocolate with sour rasberry(?) topping and chocolate-coated apple from the chocolate fountain
I took this item because it looked so pretty!
But the inside is like this...too sweet for me.
That was in December, and also the month which partly contributed to my weight gain. As at 3 weeks' ago, I almost could not fit into an old pair of pants. It was too scary... :PP

The food all looks so pretty!
So is it like a all you can eat buffet? Where is the restaurant?
Yes, it's a Japanese buffet. Kuishin Bo is at Suntec City. Need to make booking as they are very popular. See link here:

During dinner, they will sometimes play this irritating 1-2-3 tune which signals they have limited "specials" which patrons can quickly Q to collect at the teppanyaki counter. I've never tried that though, coz there is more than enough food to eat. :)
Oops, the earlier link got truncated, try this one instead.
Kushin Bo address
Very creative buffet, colourful and many varities of appetising small portions. Tau-pok bag indeed very cute.
By now, Aunty P should be able to fit into old pair of pants with all the gym trips.
EJ, actually I haven't been to the gym much, and the pace of the class has slowed down to cater to new members, but I'm trying to go back to cycling with the SO more regularly, plus watch what I eat.
Ya, now can fit into the pants. Heng ah! :P
