Dinner tonight:

Plus a nice salad with feta cheese, olives and a dribble of Balsamic vinegar.
Of course, I also picked on bits of the SO's box of chye png. The vendor was very generous with the portions of veges...must patronise his stall more often.

Wow Auntie P you doing detox diet ah....? I am afraid of soft cheeses, coz of the perceived smell, and the salad leaves which you had, coz they are quite bitter. I am a cheddar edam lettuce romaine kind of person......the piety cups definitely look very appetizing!!!!!
I am on a diet but not detox lah.
Feta cheese (made from goat's milk) doesn't have much of a smell, esp. those soaked in oil for salads.
Over 90% of lettuce is water, with hardly any nutrients, so if you're eating salads, I urge you to eat the darker coloured greens/reds. I don't know the name of that curly strip of vege although it looks like rocket, which I like to add in salads. It's slightly bitter, but all the more it adds to the texture and taste of the salad!
Here's an interesting vege reference page: http://www.organikvn.com/index.html?lang=en-ca&target=d1.html
I just came back from Spud's and his mom gave me some fococcia bread, and last night I got banana cake..all home-made. You see now, how hard it is to maintain my weight?
